Pit BBQ - Thanksgiving 2012
After a successful test run with pork shoulder, we decided it was worth trying the turkey.
The fire minders were up at 2:30 a.m. making coals and getting the turkey in the ground. The rest of us just showed up for the excavation on Thanksgiving day.

Is it done? Not cooked as nicely as the pork shoulder, but on it's way. Just a bit more time in the oven to finish it off.
