Mostly we hiked the canyon floor, but toward the end we got tired of the bushes and scrambled up higher for a view.
Can't come back from a hike without at least one rock picture.
The creek had a healthy beaver population. We saw damn after damn but only one freshly cut tree.
A particularly skilled beaver created a real reservoir here, drowning a few tress in the process.
We saw lots of evidence that some creature had been gorging himself on crawfish, but only managed find this one ourselves.
