The first two days of the trip offered up beautiful views from launch and nice flights.

One for the Canadian tourist board.

Afternoon storms put damper on the flying during the last part of the trip.

The poor flying weather gave us time for some fun backroads explorations.

Amazingly, a small campground on the river's edge was missed by the slide. Just before turning back out onto the road, berries caught my eye.

They grow big in BC!

It was a beautiful, freezing cold winter day at Deception Pass.

I never realized lichen was so spiky on the underside. Maybe just this time of year?
