Flying Oceanside 5.09

The general idea.

Not a very nice look on my face, but great background. Thanks, Christine, for catching my flight.

There I am headed toward the beach. It got really good in time for the next flight. I was in the air for 40-45 minutes. Nice.

Checking out Area B at Fort Stevens on the way home.

A last look out at the ocean before heading inland.

Not Flying Oceanside 5.09

CJ, Christine and Chris checking out some marine life.

Some prehistoric-looking molluscs.

Rocks.

For scale.

Impressive trees at Cape Lookout.

Big Trillium.

Blanchard 4.09

A human windsock with a little Wolf dog at his feet. That's Murdoch watching Jan's first flight on her new wing. I should have taken a photo of that launch. What was I thinking? Sorry, Jan!

Eagle's nest.

Green Skagit Valley.

Out behind the Longhorn.

Blanchard LZ Dog 3.09

He's always dirty, the Blanchard LZ dog. And a bit over-exuberant.

So strangely exuberant that he inspires these "What is he doing?" kind of looks from bystanders.

This day we humored him by playing ball. He saw my apple as a ball, stole it, and we played with that too until he ate it.
